Various contracts have been awarded for the latest I.e. second phase of Dubai’s Al Mamzar Beach development project. It focuses on the development of beachfront in Al Mamzar Corniche.
This latest project is expected to get completed by the end of 2025 at a whopping cost of Dh400 Million.
The Dubai Municipality awarded the contracts in sync with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Vice president and Prime Minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.
Women’s Beach
Al Mamzar Corniche Beach will feature a dedicated public beach for women, that will sprawl across 125,000 square meters and spans 80 meters across.
The beach will include a safe and secure gated entrance and fencing, keeping in mind the paramount factors of privacy and safety.
This new beach will also offer night swimming and world-class amenities, which include a sports club, play areas for children, and commercial services.
World-class Facilities
The public beach on the Al Mamzar Beach Corniche will feature 1,000 meters of running, cycling, and walking paths that will link Al Mamzar Park and Mamzar Creek Beach.
This new development will also feature numerous green spaces. The premium facilities will include a 5,000 square meter area for seasonal events and activities, a 2,000 square meter area dedicated to children play areas, skateboarding area, beach lounges, and restrooms.
The Dubai Municipality will also will also fill the corniche with wellness and public health facilities, which include toilets, changing rooms, and various services for people of determination. An administrative building will also feature a control room and first aid center.
In addition to this, various smart services, which include drowning rescue technologies, smart luggage lockers, crowd management tools, AI supported surveillance systems, have been designed to give visitors a seamless experience.
The corniche will also focus on encouraging business opportunities, which include food and beverage outlets, waterfront restaurants, spaces for recreational activities, beach sitting. These opportunities will foster the economic growth whilst providing visitors an enriched experience.

Night Swimming
The corniche development also features a 300 meters long night swimming beach, specially designed to be easily accessible by the people of determination, along with a 5 kilometer walkway and dedicated running and cycling tracks along the beach. These modern enhancements have been made to build an exclusive and vibrant community space for both residents and visitors.
Pontoon Bridge
The first phase of the corniche development, the work for which commenced on June 2024 has been 45% complete. This development sprawls over an area of 275,000 square meters.
The beach ranges from 30 to 90 meters in width at various points. This project also includes the construction of a 200 meters long pedestrian Pontoon bridge that will connect the 2 banks of the Creek, making sure that the public gets ease of access and convenience.
