EMAAR Developer has revealed a massive expansion of Dubai Mall worth AED 1.5 Billion. The main idea behind this expansion is to grab the attention of visitor’s and add to the existing Dubai’s mall offerings.
The expansion plan consists of construction of 240 new luxury, food, and beverage outlets. However, no specific date has been revealed by EMAAR yet. As per the founder of EMAAR Properties, Mohammad Alabbar, “The development is a great addition to one of the most visited sites in the world.”
Further he stated, “This expansion reflects Dubai’s ambitious vision to remain at the forefront of global innovation and culture, further solidifying our city’s position as a top global destination.”
Dubai Mall never fails to capture the attention of visitors from across the globe. In 2023, it set a ground-breaking record for the most visited place on the Earth, with 105 Million visitors, indicating a 19% increase in comparison with the past year.
For the unversed, Dubai Mall is the world’s second largest shopping malls, spanning over an impressive area of 1.2 Million square metres. This renowned mall is home to more than 1,200 retail outlets, international dining experiences, and a plethora of entertainment and leisure attractions, which includes the fascinating Dubai Aquarium, Reel Cinema, KidZania Dubai, and Miracle garden.
