Dubai Land Department has warned 10 property owners against violating rules related to occupancy and health and safety standards. The main reasons behind violating these property owners has been overcrowding, poor health, and safety conditions.
DLD has taken this strict decision after a series of inspections that found these 10 property owners guilty of ignorance of safety standards, health, and occupancy.
The authority shared the news of the ban on the social media handle X.
“These firm measures were taken due to repeated violations,” DLD said, adding that warnings towards this end had gone unheeded.
The authority further added that adherence to DLD regulations with regard to occupancy in a property and health and safety standards is vital to maintain stability in Dubai’s Real Estate Market.
