Dubai Islamic Bank pledges AED 15 million

Dubai Islamic Bank Pledges AED 15 Million (DIB) has made an important pledge to contribute towards Dubai’s healthcare sector with a major contribution of AED 15 Million to Al Jalila Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to transforming lives through comprehensive medical research, education, and treatment in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

This major contribution will further aid the development of Dubai’s Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer Hospital, the first cancer care hospital in Dubai. This contribution highlights the contribution of the organization towards the communities’ well-being and advancing Dubai healthcare infrastructure. This contribution by the Dubai Islamic Bank enables Dubai health to launch an integrated model of Cancer care at Hamdan Bin Rashid Cancer hospital, which is scheduled to open in 2026.

Furthermore, it will also help in earlier detection and intervention of this deadly disease, which is proven to optimize outcomes for patients. The hospital will feature multiple-disciplinary teams that include specialised cancer nurses, offering a full spectrum of services in one location – from diagnosis to treatment to supportive care. However, several selective treatments and services will be made available to the patients direct from their home’s comfort.

“We are proud to partner with Al Jalila Foundation to empower Dubai Health on this transformative project.
