The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai has notified the drivers about Al Ain Road Closure until September 9. The main reason behind this road closure is the ongoing maintenance works to further enhance the Dubai’s infrastructure. You can expect delays on Weekdays between 1:00 A.M. and 10:00 A.M. and full road closures on Weekends.
“To further enhance the Dubai infrastructure, RTA informs you of an expected delay on the Dubai – Al Ain Road under the fifth intersection with Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road in both directions, daily on weekdays from 10pm to 6am, starting from August 9 until September 9, 2024, due to bridge maintenance work,” the RTA said.
RTA further requested drivers to plan their trips accordingly and use the below-mentioned alternative routes for ease of convenience:
- For the people Who are Coming from Al Ain to Dubai: The Traffic will be directed to the free right exit onto Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road towards Hatta, and they need to make a U-turn at the first roundabout towards Dubai.
- On the Other Hand, the People Heading from Dubai to Al Ain: The traffic will be directed to the free right exit onto Jebel Ali – Lehbab Road towards Jebel Ali Port, and they need to make a U-turn at the first roundabout towards Al Ain.
The RTA has made this decision to reduce the heavy traffic and to make journey times, shorter to give people complete ease and comfort. So, please plan your trip keeping in mind Al Ain Road Closure until September 9.
