The AI tool at Dubai Airports will help in analyzing real-time data to predict future consumption of additional parts for maintenance works.
Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), operated by Dubai Airports has introduced an AI powered Material requirement planning tool (MRP) to forecast spare parts demands in a better way.
The tool uses real-time data to forecast the future utilization of spare parts for maintenance works. The MRP tool has increased forecasting accuracy by 30 percent, that enables precise inventory planning and a 12 percent deduction in excessive stock held. This optimisation enhances capital usage and ensures resources are available when required.
