MBRHE (Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Development) and Wasl Group have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop creative housing projects that improve the quality of life and the well-being of the community. The entire agreement was done in line with their commitment to support sustainable development in Dubai and achieve the set goals of Dubai Urban Plan 2040.
The signing ceremony took place at the Wasl’s headquarters on the Sheikh Zayed Road, and the entire ceremony was attended by H.E. Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim, the CEO of the Wasl Group, and H.E. Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, the CEO of Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aims to explore limitless opportunities for implementing sustainable housing projects on land provided by MBRHE. The focus of the MoU was on innovative initiatives that will meet the diverse needs of the citizens and enhance the community’s welfare. This agreement also elaborates the strengthening collaboration between the 2 parties through Wasl Group’s subsidiaries, ensuring the optimal utilization of the capabilities and resources.
The agreement grants Wasl Group priority access to the future investment opportunities, all related to the housing projects, that is a pure reflection of the commitment of both the parties to develop innovative and sustainable solutions that further align with the set objectives of Dubai Urban Master Plan 2040.
On this occasion, H.E. Hesham Abdullah Al Qassim, the CEO of Wasl Group expressed his opinions in collaboration with the MBRHE and stated that, “This agreement represents a strategic step in the collaboration journey between the two institutions. Through it, we aim to deliver innovative projects that serve citizens and support Dubai’s future aspirations.”
H.E. Omar Hamad Bu Shehab, the CEO of MBRHE (Mohammad Bin Rashid Housing Establishment), reflected the importance of this partnership, stating that, “The signing of this agreement reflects the Establishment’s commitment to enhancing strategic partnerships that support Dubai’s vision for sustainable urban development. We strive to improve citizens’ quality of life through innovative housing projects that achieve sustainability and foster innovation.”
The joint task forces will be formed and implemented by both the entities to develop detailed execution plans, making sure that the strategic objective are effectively and efficiently met, whilst maintaining continuous coordination to achieve the goal of sustainable housing development.
